Classic Eyelash Extensions - Full Set

Classic lashes are individual extensions applied in a 1:1 ratio on the natural eyelash. It is perfect for those who are looking for a subtle and simple eye enhancement, and they can fit into your everyday routine. Classic lashes come in three different sets and different styles that you can choose from. Our expert lash technicians will discuss which set and style are suitable for your eyes and need.

Hybrid Full Set Eyelash Extensions

Hybrid lashes are a combination of Volume and Classic. With this full set, you get the best of both worlds. A combination of two different lash application techniques rolled into one set of eyelashes. Example: individual classic extend, one false lash extension on one isolated natural lash combined with Volume or multiple lash extensions on one natural lash. Mascara isn’t recommended to be used on Hybrid sets.

Volume Full Set Eyelash Extensions

Volume lashes (or often being called Russian Volume) are a newer and more innovative technique where multiple extensions are attached to one lash to give more dimension and texture. At Revive Aesthetics Orange County our technicians handmake each of our volume fans as we lash each volume fans onto your natural lashes. As the fans are made within the appointment, they bond beautifully to any natural lash - thick or thin, slender or strong, volume lashes really are great options for everyone. Mascara is not recommended on volume sets.

Bottom Lash Extensions

Lower lashes aren’t necessarily the first thing that spring to mind when someone wants to glam up their eyes. Yet adding bottom lash extensions can be just what you need to add that special extra oomph to your everyday look!

The extra definition and length offered by bottom lashes can help open up a person’s eyes, making them seem even larger and more dramatic without looking “fake”. Bottom lash extensions can last for up to 2 weeks. Due to their relatively short lifespan, we do not perform fills for bottom lashes, but instead simply re-apply new lashes set when you return.

Mini Fill Eyelash Extensions

Mini fills are perfect for a quick touch up if you have a special occasion, in between regular lash fills and you want some extra glam!

Semi Full Fill Eyelash Extensions

Semi Full Fill Eyelash Extensions

Semi full fills are typically done 2 - 3 weeks after a regular lash fill. You’ll get a few more lashes added to fill in the missing instead of doing a whole new set.

Full Fill Eyelash Extensions

This fill is for the client that wants to get their lashes back to their FULLEST. If you have less than half of your extensions left, this fill is for you.

  • Eyelash extensions are essentially synthetic lashes that are placed on top of your natural lashes, to create a more voluminous look. They can be made out of different materials and are available in different lengths, thicknesses, and curls. Eyelash extensions are applied to the natural lash in order to enhance the look of a person's eyes.

  • High quality eyelash extensions require time and precision, this is why you must choose qualified experts like the people at Revive. There are instances when lashes can be damaged. For example, if the extensions are attached to more than one natural lash, they will cause whichever lash that grows faster to pull out the other lash or lashes. Breakage can also occur if the weight or length of the extensions exceeds what the natural lashes can handle. If you do have breakage, a viable solution is a lash serum. That helps your lashes grow faster and stronger. When lashes are correctly applied by our expert team, they cause no damage to your natural lashes.

  • It's almost impossible to tell unless they've already been applied. Take a look at a few google or social media images and choose your favorites! Every look is subjective to your own personal tastes, so try out what you like and our team would be glad to help you.

  • The answer depends on your eye shape and lashes. Generally speaking, Cat-eye makes your eyes look wider, or more almond shaped, Natural makes your eyes look more open / larger, and other styles will make them look more noticeable. Don’t be afraid to try something new as you might just like it.

  • Again, the length of your natural lashes will greatly affect the maximum length of extensions you want to apply to them. Too long and they will fall out faster and break, not to mention annoy your day to day activities. Consider that everyone's eyes are set differently, so what looks like a 14mm extension on your friend may not look the same as a 14mm lash extension on you. A tip: if you wear glasses and don’t want your new extensions to brush against them, don't choose longer than 12mm lash!

  • It's not a simple process that's why you want the experts at Revive Aesthetics OC to apply them. Basically your new eyelash extensions are applied by placing a beautiful but fake lash dipped in skin safe adhesive onto your natural lash that can hold the weight of the extension, there is more to it and that's why you should always come to an expert like the people at Revive.

  • No! The service will not be painful at all.

  • Depending on the style and volume of lashes that you prefer, the duration of your lash appointment varies between 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

  • Depending on the adhesive used, your eyelash extensions should last 4-6 weeks if they are well taken care of but it also largely depends on your local environment such as natural heat and humidity in the air which will reduce their lifespan.

  • The first tip is to stop touching them. The oils in your fingers can break down the adhesive, not to mention that you are probably pulling some off on your own. The less you mess with them the better off you’ll be. Next, follow the proper aftercare instructions. Additionally, you can purchase a sealant but use it sparingly. Consider going a length shorter to increase retention. Sleep on your back after your lash appointment as it takes a while for the safe glue to fully set. Wash your lashes daily and gently. When removing eye makeup, use makeup remover wipes. Cotton pads get stuck and weaken the extensions, so avoid using them.

  • Preferably every 2-3 weeks is the ideal, but we understand life can get busy, so come in as soon as you can!

  • Yes, just don’t put too much weight on your extensions otherwise you’ll be putting more stress on your natural lashes. Also, make sure not to wear any liquid eyeliner, mascara, or oil-based eye makeup. Not only is it difficult to clean up after getting stuck between the lashes, but it also shortens the life of the extensions.

  • No please don’t get them wet for 24 to 48 hours. This means sweat, tears, showering, swimming and anything of that nature. After the first 24 hours, you should gently wash them every day.

  • Avoid anything oil based as it will break down the adhesive. Also avoid heat. Most lashes are synthetic and will lose curl or even become singed when exposed to excessive heat even for a second, like opening the hot oven to closely.

  • Yes they are extremely safe when used correctly by a trained technician like the people at Revive. Although everyone's skin sensitivities are different and personal, please let us know if you are sensitive to other chemical-based products, we've got the right method and products for you.

  • Natural eyelashes grow out in a corkscrew motion. So, as your natural lashes grow, they begin to twist and the attached lash follows suit.

  • This is a challenging question to answer because we are always looking for ways to increase retention, but everyone is different. Here are a few possibilities:

You are experiencing a lash cycle which is when a majority of your natural lashes are moving from the growth stage to a shedding stage in their natural cycle.

You got them wet in the first 24 hours and the adhesive did not cure completely. Humidity also has an effect on the curing process so maybe the salon wasn’t humid enough or was way too humid to adhere properly. You traveled from an area where the humidity was drastically different, say California to Utah.

It could be that you have a tendency for oily skin that causes the adhesive to break down (ask your lash artist to double prime with alcohol or a saline solution). There are dozens of potential problems but don't worry our team will find the correct solution for you.

  • Please take a two week break from lash extensions every 6 months to keep your natural lashes strong and healthy.

  • Yes!

Eyelash Extensions Frequently Asked Questions

Eyelash Extensions - Everything You Need To Know

The Benefits of Switching from Strip Lashes to Eyelash Extensions

We all know that the eyes are the windows to the soul, so why not make them look as good as possible? If you’re looking for an easy way to upgrade your makeup game, then look no further than eyelash extensions.

Let’s face it, strip lashes are the worst. Are they a great solution when you need an instant lash lift? Sure! But if you’re looking for something more natural and long-term, you should look into getting eyelash extensions. Not only do lash extensions look more natural, but they also last up to 8 weeks. It’s time to ditch those false eyelashes and upgrade your beauty game with semi-permanent lash extensions.

Time is Money!

Lash extensions are a great option if you want to save time on your daily beauty routine. With lash extensions, you can wake up and go with beautiful lashes already in place. No more fussing with glue, trying to get those pesky strip lashes to stay put all day, or layering on multiple coats of mascara just for them to flake off halfway through the day. Instead, you can spend those extra few minutes in bed each morning cuddling with your pup instead of fussing over your look. The best part? Lash extensions will stay put from morning until night (with proper aftercare) so you can look fabulous without any extra effort.

What You Need To Know About Eyelash Extensions

Lash extensions aren’t just for special occasions; they're great for everyday wear too. You can customize your eyelash extension set depending on your desired look. You can transform your natural eyelashes to several different styles. From full and dramatic sets to subtle and natural ones, all eyes will be on you wherever you go. In addition, there are different types of eyelash extension styles available so that even those with sensitive eyes and sensitive natural eyelashes can enjoy the experience without worrying about irritation or discomfort to their natural lashes. Just make sure that you book an appointment with an experienced technician and lash artist who has undergone thorough training with individual lash extensions in order to get the best possible results, and minimal damage to your natural lashes.

Eyelash Extensions vs False Lashes

Long, luscious, and voluminous lashes give you an alluring look. But which is better for your lash health: false lashes or eyelash extensions? On one hand, false faux mink lashes are a quick fix solution. On the other hand, eyelash extensions require more time and money but provide longer-lasting results. Let’s break it down further and find out why eyelash extensions win this beauty battle.

Eyelash extensions come in many sizes, shapes, and colors and offer a variety of looks from natural lashes to dramatic. They are applied one lash at a time by a certified lash artist technician using medical grade adhesive formulated specifically for the delicate area of the eye. When properly maintained with regular fills every 2-4 weeks, your eyelash extension can last up to 8 weeks.

Strip lashes require daily maintenance; they get messy and tangled quickly while their adhesive dries out after just one use. Plus, they never have the look of natural lashes unlike eyelash extensions because their length is uniform throughout the entire lash line, giving away that obvious “fake lash” vibe. With eyelash extensions however, you won’t have that problem because each individual extension is applied individually with varying lengths for a more natural look. That means no more clumpy or spidery eyes! Plus, since your lashes will stay on for weeks at a time you don’t have to worry about taking off your makeup or eye makeup before bed either, which is always a plus.

Strip lashes are convenient for those times when you need an instant boost of glamour (like on a night out with friends). They’re easy to apply in just minutes and can be easily removed at the end of the day with eye makeup remover. However, false lashes will only last as long as you do not get them wet or rub your eyes and natural lashes too much. And since they come in a one-size-fits-all package, it may be hard to find the right ones for your eye shape and natural eyelashes (we all know how important that is).

When it comes to beauty products, it’s always better to invest in quality instead of quantity. That’s why eyelash extensions are the perfect solution. Each eyelash extension is applied individually, guaranteeing the natural lashes look that lasts up to 8 weeks with proper care. Strip lashes may stay on for a few hours or days if you apply the lashes correctly but ultimately will not last as long as a lash extension set from a certified lash artist or lash stylist. Plus, taking off your strip lashes at the end of the night can be a hassle and end up damaging your natural lash line, as well as damaging the false eyelashes with glue and eye makeup. Having a ton of debris and eye makeup stuck on your false lashes is unsanitary and unsafe. Within all the eye makeup and debris on your false lash, you risk contaminating your beautiful natural lashes with old eye makeup. With eyelash extensions you don’t have to worry about any of that.

It goes without saying that strip lashes don’t usually look natural because there’s no way around having uniform strips of synthetic material glued onto your natural lashes (it's like wearing false nails!). So while they may offer quantity in terms of volume, they don't really offer much quality in terms of realism or longevity. Plus, they tend to feel stiffer than natural lashes so they may cause discomfort over time as well.

On the other hand, eyelash extensions are individually applied to each of your own natural lash hairs using medical grade adhesive specifically designed for use near eyes so they look extremely realistic; plus they mimic real hair movement so you won't even notice that yours aren't real! Even better - the adhesive used is waterproof so you can shower and swim without worrying about losing your beautiful lash look anytime soon. Just make sure to follow proper aftercare instructions from your technician. Many people question whether or not eyelash extensions hurt. The truth is that when lash extensions are done properly by a certified lash tech, there will be no pain with the lash application process.

One thing about strip lashes is that they don’t always remain in place throughout the day, especially if you’re an active person who likes to move around and get things done. That’s not a problem when it comes to eyelash extensions though. Lash technicians use special adhesives specifically designed for eyelash application which help keep your new look and natural lashes intact no matter how much you move around or dance at the club. With lash extensions, there’s no need to worry about reapplying glue every couple of hours, just shake it off and go!

Going beyond aesthetics, there are health benefits associated with switching from strip lashes to extensions too that will help your natural lashes. Unlike false eyelashes which require glue that can irritate your eyes and cause allergic reactions due to its chemical composition, eyelash extension glue is usually made of medical grade ingredients that are safe for sensitive eyes and skin types. And because it stays on longer than glue used in strip lashes it also reduces friction against your real lash line which can reduce damage caused by traditional mascara formulas and clumpy strips.

So there you have it—eyelash extensions win this beauty battle hands down! With more convenience than strip lashes through longer lasting results and higher quality looks achieved with individual application techniques; eyelash extensions are definitely worth investing both time and money into if you want natural looking luscious curls every day without needing any touch ups. Don't settle for anything less than perfection when it comes to finding your perfect lash look, go with eyelash extensions instead!

Finding a Professional Lash Artist

If you’re considering getting eyelash extensions, then it’s important to find a reputable lash stylist who is experienced in this area of beauty. A qualified lash artist will be able to discuss your desired look and help you choose the right type of lash extension based on your lifestyle and desired outcome. It’s also important to ask questions about their products and techniques before committing so you can ensure that the results will meet your expectations as well as the eyelash extensions cost.

The bottom line is that if you want longer lasting results without sacrificing quality or safety then switching from strip lashes to semi-permanent eyelash extensions is the way to go. Not only do they look more natural but they also last longer so you don't have to constantly worry about reapplying them throughout the day or night. Plus, the health benefits alone should be enough incentive for anyone considering making this switch. So what are you waiting for?
